Cancelled – Cybersecurity Vulnerability in Medical Devices

The Committee regrets that this meeting has been cancelled. The Speaker, Dana-Megan Rossi is unable to attend due to an airline schedule disruption.

BD Australia and the Society hope to be able to re-schedule later in the year. In the meantime, a webinar is being organised on the subject.

Dana-Megan Rossi leads global Cybersecurity Vulnerability and Threat Management for Information and Product Security at BD. Her work focuses on strategic and tactical security operations and initiatives, collaboration​ and global programs to enhance security to customers by design, in use and through partnership. She works closely with industry stakeholders and governments on proactive measures to address the threat landscape, risk mitigation strategies, internal and government investigations and security awareness.

Ms. Rossi previously led the Product Security Operations teams and served as the Product Security Officer for the Technology Solutions and Digital Health business units at BD.
Ms. Rossi brings extensive experience in managing global enterprise and product cybersecurity incident response, having previously led incident response coordination and preparedness at a large global conglomerate. Her work included leading the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) and crisis-level cybersecurity and leading tabletop exercises, and coordinating multistakeholder security responses. Ms. Rossi also previously created and led a cybersecurity law & policy forum for corporate counsel, bringing together legal counsel, senior U.S. government advisors and IT professionals for cyber preparedness.

Ms. Rossi currently serves as the Health Care and Public Health Sector Chief for FBI’s InfraGard for the National Capital Region, and is a member of the Cyber Health Working Group. She holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans, is licensed to practice law in New York, and earned her undergraduate degree from American University. She has also completed cyber intelligence training with the U.S.-based NCFTA and the Domestic Security Alliance Council. Ms. Rossi regularly speaks on cybersecurity matters and participates in public-private collaborations and cyber war game engagements.

She is based in Northern Virginia in the U.S., and is currently on assignment in Singapore.
