The Digital Health environment, health care informatics and AI are with us now in a big way.
Central to delivery of healthcare in the digital environment is a thorough understanding of connectivity, from the patient bedside through the diagnostic and therapeutic treatment modalities to the broader healthcare IT systems.

In conjunction with  IHE International (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise – www.ihe.net ) and the upcoming Health Informatics Society of Australia – www.hisa.org.au – and their annual Conference in Melbourne commencing 12 August (https://www.hisa.org.au/hic/) , the College has arranged a one day workshop for engineers, physicists, IT professionals and others to assist in gaining an understanding of the technologies and the health IT environment.  The attached flyer provides details of the workshop.

For the purpose of receiving your College/SMBE member discount in the registration process indicate tick the box indicating you are an ‘IHE member’.

I would encourage those engaged in this ever expanding area of healthcare to attend the workshop, either in person in EA’s Melbourne workshop presentation space or via the webinar facilities which will be set up for remote delivery.
